ジーン・アモンズ

ジーン・アモンズ（Gene Ammons）こと本名ユージーン・アモンズ（Eugene Ammons, 1925年4月14日-1974年8月6日）はアメリカ合衆国のジャズ・サクソフォン奏者。父親はブギウギ・ピアノ奏者のアルバート・アモンズ。「テナー・サクソフォン界のボス（The Boss）」や「ジャグ（Jug）」の愛称でも知られる。テナー・サクソフォン奏者のジョシュア・レッドマンに多大な影響を与えたと看做されている。（Wikipedia）。
