ソニー・ロリンズ

ソニー・ロリンズ(Sonny Rollins、1930年9月7日 - )は、アメリカ合衆国のジャズ・サックス奏者。本名セオドア・ウォルター・ロリンズ(Theodore Walter Rollins)。ハード・バップの代表的奏者であり、ジョン・コルトレーンと並ぶジャズ・サックスの巨人と讃えられる。長年、歌心溢れるアドリブや、リスナーをリラックスさせるプレイは、今も多くのファンに支持されている。(Wikipedia)
